The Genetics and Physiology Division includes the Genetics and Physiology Hall, Taiwan Livestock Germplasm Center, and Swine Testing Station. Its primary responsibilities are to conduct

research on the genetics, breeding, and physiology of livestock

and poultry, to preserve genetic materials, to assess traits, and to develop artificial reproductive and transgenic technologies.

Additionally, the division also manages the Taiwan Livestock

Germplasm Database (https://www.angrin.tlrigoutw), which

catalogs and registers various breeds and strains, providing

adaptation techniques for livestock production and maintaining genetic diversity.
