The Livestock Management Division primarily focuses on providing consultation and management support for the ruminant, swine, and poultry industries. Its work includes developing net-zero carbon emission management models, addressing livestock wastewater and manure treatment, and offering guidance on air pollution control techniques.
Research Focus
> Ruminants (Dairy Cattle and Dairy Goat): Development of feeding formulations, by-product recycling, heat stress alleviation management,low-carbon feed formulations and additive research,and the integration and application of smart equipment.
>Swine: Establishment of smart management system models.
>Poultry: Selection and breeding of new poultry varieties, development of climate-resilient and animal welfare-aligned feeding models, and the production and promotion of high-quality breeding chickens.
>Pollution Control: Research and development of pollution control, water conservation, and waste reduction techniques for livestock farms.
