Animal Nutrition Division
The Animal Nutrition Division oversees the maintenance and operation of the research building feed mill, pilot fermentation platform, and feed analysis center. It focuses on research related to the nutrition and metabolism of livestock animals, the development and production of feed resources and additives, and studies on nutritional adjustments and strategies. Industry services include the analysis methods and quality analysis of feed.
Research Focus
>Research and development of precision feed formulations to reduce enteric greenhouse gas emissions in livestock animals and enhance feed efficiency.
>Studies on the feasibility of developing diverse feed by agricultural by-products to lessen the dependence on imported raw materials.
>Research on feed additives, including probiotics and phytogenics, to achieve the goal of antibiotic-free or reduced-antibiotic in feed.
Establishment of respiration chambers for the research of greenhouse gas emissions in livestock animals
