Forage Crops Division
The primary responsibilities of the Forage Crops Division include research on the genetics, breeding, cultivation, and management of forage crops, as well as studies on utilization and recycling of livestock farm waste resources. The Division also promotes new forage crop varieties to farmers, assisting them in producing high-quality domestic feed. Additionally, the Division manages the agricultural meteorological station of the Taiwan Livestock Research Institute, recording and transmitting data to the Central Weather Bureau.
