Developed an "Environment-protection 333 Feed Formula" consisting of one-thirdlong-fiber forage, one-third by-products,and one-third grain concentrates for cattle and goat. This formula can reduce methane emissions by 12% and increase milk yield in summer by approximately 15%.
-
In alignment with the revised national standards for the recommendation ofmaximum and minimum crude protein levels in swine and poultry feed, anapproximate 1% reduction of dietary feed crude protein could lower greenhouse gas emissions by an estimated 104.4 thousand tons of CO2e per year based on the population of pig and chicken at the end of 2022, which is equivalent to the carbon sequestration of approximately 269 Daan Parks.
-
Established the coefficient of enteric methane emissions for key livestock and poultry species at different feeding stages. Through the respiration chamber built in 2023, the detection accuracy will be enhanced for promoting the low-carbon, eco-friendly agricultural production.
