• 1962 Cattle Department, responsible for research of feeding, breeding, lactation and embryo application; Pig Department, responsible for research of growth performance, feed efficiency and offspring of breeding pig, and Poultry Department, responsible for  research of growth performance, feed efficiency and offspring of breeding chicken.
• 1981 Livestock Farm, responsible for feeding and management of livestock and disease prevention for the experiment of the other departments. 
• 1999 Animal Industry Division, responsible for research of feeding, management, production and reproduction of livestock. Animal Industry Division comprises cattle, pig, chicken and rabbit units. Agriculture Mechanics and Feed Mill were also included.
• 2001 Agriculture Mechanics was transferred to Forage Division.
• 2007 Feed Mill was transferred to Animal Nutrition Division.
